Fancy.

planIT Hardware, a leader in the new and refurbished network hardware industry, has been nominated for something great. It was announced today that the company was selected as a finalist in the Atlanta Business Chronicle 2013 Pacesetter Awards. For 17 years now, the ceremony has been an annual and integral part of the Atlanta business scene. The Pacesetter Award honors the 50 fastest-growing privately held companies of Atlanta and how they continue to develop amidst what The Chronicle calls “today’s new economy.”

This is a great honor for planIT Hardware, which has seen incredible growth (just shy of 420 percent) since its 2009 inception. Additionally, the company workforce quadrupled from two to nine people over the course of three years. The last year of growth, specifically, can be attributed to a focus on end-users, VAR’s (value-added resellers), and international sales.

With regard to the nomination and recent growth, owner/CEO Paul Hogg had this to say: “I’m excited about the nomination; a recognition like this is great for our company. During 2012 we achieved considerable success in growth outside of the regular network hardware broker market. Utilizing online marketplaces and web-based sales campaigns, we’ve grown our VAR and end-user customer base significantly, especially in the last half of the year. This growth has actually carried into 2013, and we are seeing many new customers from 2012 sending us repeat orders. I guess we are doing a great job at keeping them happy with our products, testing, and delivery.”

The 18th Annual Pacesetter Awards ceremony will be held on Friday, April 26th at The Cobb Galleria.
